About Lehigh Valley Association of Professional Limousine Drivers

This group is by and for limousine drivers and their affiliates. We will work together as a trade organization to improve the lives of limo drivers in many ways. We seek you input, your involvement and your assistance to make this a valuable experience for every one of us.

Our goal is to form into a professional trade association, in the same way that Realtors and insurance agents meet regularly at luncheons, dinners, conventions and other special events to develop and promote their professionalism. We will seek to influence which affects limousine drivers, but we will not engage in collective bargaining. We are not necessarily hostile to limousine company management, but will speak out when their actions and behaviors adversely affect limo drivers.

Limo drivers don't often get the opportunity to network and meet other drivers from their own company; much less from other companies. We our paperwork and we're on the road. We seldom learn, share, advance or develop our professional skills and know-how together. We are all the poorer for that.

We are working to develop featured presentations with expert speakers and consultants, professional luncheons and awards banquets with entertaining and informational speakers. We are working to promote the industry to consumer and corporate users and to advance YOUR professional activities and business operations.

We are searching the best options in group life and health insurance and other member benefits such as valuable discounts on most needed products and services. We are working to offer professional identification and training programs and incentives.

While participation on this message board is free and open to anyone, official membership in the Lehigh Valley Association of Professional Limousine Drivers does require application, approval and dues. Your membership in the local chapter will include your membership in the national organization.
